TOP STORIES Higher reaches receive fresh snowfall, light rains lash plains | KNO MeT predicts dry weather till Feb 19 Published 5 hours ago on February 11, 2025 By KNO Correspondent Srinagar, Feb 11 (KNO): For the second straight day, the higher reaches in north and central Kashmir areas received fresh snowfall while the plains witnessed light rainfall on Tuesday. According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the fresh snowfall occurred at multiple places today including Sonamarg and other areas. The light rains lashed the plains including Srinagar and other areas of the Valley today. Meanwhile, Director Meteorological department (MeT), Dr Mukhtar Ahmad said that generally dry weather is expected from tomorrow till February 14 while there is a possibility of light rain and snow at isolated places on February 15 & 16.
